Maths & Science Tutor who can work after School and Saturdays
Description: This role requires someone with strong educational background in Mathematics and/or Science. Preferably, someone who is able teach Maths and Science up to GCSE. Teaching Experience will be an added advantage but not a compulsory requirement for these role as necessary training will be provided. Also, private tutoring experience would be relevant and could play a significant part in the selection process.
Note: Educational background is an essential requirement for this position.
The candidate must have a valid DBS or be ready to obtain one ASAP
Duties:
* Plans instructional efforts by discussing assigned teaching area with the Head of Centre.
* Prepares instructional plan by providing lesson outline and plan in assigned area for Manager’s approval.
* Prepares periodic progress report for each student in a group
* Conducts a regular progressive assessment for students
• Presents and reinforces concepts by helping students, individually and in groups, with lesson assignments.
* Evaluates students’ progress by preparing, administering, and grading assessments; discussing progress with parents.
* Maintains quality results by following and enforcing centre’s policy.
* Enhances Centre’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Helps students with their school homework when necessary and appropriate with minimum standard required.
Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry: This vacant role requires someone who can start immediately and ready to work after school and Saturdays. So if you have a suitable qualification and skills apply online immediately.
